Adam Grace - Film Composer & Music Producer

Australian composer and music producer specialising in cinematic scores that blend orchestral grandeur with contemporary electronic elements.

A veteran of the Australian electronic music scene, Adam Grace's three-decade journey spans underground raves to prestigious international collaborations. From co-producing Bliss N Eso's first EP to working with Snoop Dogg, Tina Arena, Courtney Act, Marcia Hines, and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Adam has contributed to projects across Sydney Film Festival, Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras, and major film productions.

His extensive experience includes positions at Song Zu under Adam Gock, BBC London, Miramax as script proofer, mixing Paul Oakenfold's global radio show at Unique Broadcasting, and engineering at Studio 301 and Trackdown Studios on productions including Happy Feet, Walking with Dinosaurs, Romeo & Juliet (DVD).

Adam's professional highlight would be as Music Programmer on Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby where his duties spanned from recording and working with musicians at Trackdown, to writing the draft score in realtime with Baz and Jonathan Redmond on set at Fox Studios. Baz then invited Adam to score his short film Absolute Oz for Absolut Vodka, cementing his reputation as a reliable and extremely versatile composer.

For nearly a decade, Adam served as audio engineering and computer music lecturer at SAE Institute, TAFE NSW, and University of Technology Sydney, sharing his expertise with the next generation of award winning producers. Currently signed to Melodie, his music has been featured on Bondi Rescue, ABC, and Totem. With multiple album and vinyl releases behind him, Adam Grace has now pivoted to film composing full-time, bringing his extensive 30 years of DJ knowledge, electronic music production skills (any style or genre) and orchestral chops to narrative-driven scores.
